The Salt Lake City Arts Council and Finch Lane Gallery are located in Reservoir Park, near the University of Utah campus. Our facility has served as a community art center since its doors opened in the early 1930s.
The Finch Lane Gallery at the Art Barn is available for event rentals for meetings, workshops, nonprofit events, and for private receptions and parties on an intimate scale.
Availability
The Finch Lane Gallery is open to the public Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and stays open till 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The gallery is also open for the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll, which is the third Friday of the month from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The gallery is not available for rent during these times. As the space is primarily an exhibition space, there may be dates when the space is not available due to the nature of the exhibition or to installation and deinstallation.
Rental Rates
Rates are $650 per event, plus $30 per hour for security and management. Rates for nonprofit organizations are $400 per event, plus $30 per hour for security and management. Fee waivers are considered on a case-by-case basis by request.
