December 10, 2024 - The Salt Lake City Arts Council is pleased to announce that the Living Traditions Festival will take place on May 16-18, 2025, at Washington and Library Square in Downtown Salt Lake City. At this free event, Utahns are invited to enjoy the diverse multicultural food, live performances, and art from the many cultures that have made Utah their home.

The Living Traditions Festival supports the diverse artistic traditions and perspectives through the presentation of both historical and contemporary customs. By facilitating thoughtful conversations around the unique qualities of various cultures and the similarities of the human experience and community bonds are created.

Applications for performing artists, craft artists, and food vendors will be available on the Living Traditions website on January 2, 2025. Forms will also be available for those interested in volunteering or registering elementary school classes to participate in the free School Day program.
