Utah artists and curators: it’s time to start planning your next exhibition opportunity. The Salt Lake City Arts Council is officially opening submissions for the 2027 Finch Lane Gallery Call for Entries beginning Monday, May 18, 2026. Artists, artist-led teams and groups, and curators from across Utah are invited to apply for the chance to present work at Finch Lane Gallery during the 2027 exhibition season.
Selected artists and curators will have the opportunity to showcase their work in a professionally supported gallery setting and receive a $500 honorarium. The annual exhibition program offers artists a chance to share current work, connect with audiences, and participate in one of Salt Lake City’s longstanding visual arts spaces.
Located at 54 Finch Lane in Reservoir Park, Finch Lane Gallery is a contemporary exhibition venue dedicated to highlighting Utah-based artists and fostering creative dialogue. The gallery welcomes both emerging and established artists and encourages submissions from a broad range of visual art practices, including traditional and experimental media.
The exhibition program is designed to support Utah’s creative community by providing opportunities to exhibit current bodies of work, encouraging exploration of themes and media relevant to both local audiences and the broader arts landscape, and fostering curatorial growth through collaboration and exhibition development.
Applications will be reviewed through a competitive process by the Salt Lake City Arts Council’s Visual Arts Committee. The call is open to Utah-based artists, artist-led teams, and curators, with submissions encouraged from all visual arts disciplines, including emerging and interdisciplinary practices.
