Big Cartel Web Shop Showcase

In 2022 we partnered with local business, Big Cartel, to offer a web shop workshop and artist stipends to Salt Lake City and Utah based artists on building an online shop to sell arts and crafts! The intention of this partnership is to support the professional and economic development of Salt Lake City and Utah based artists. Big Cartel is an online platform for artists, craftspeople, and creatives to sell their work online. We offered two 1.5-hour workshops in which we trained artists on how to create their own online shop. Following each workshop, we provided a link to an application for workshop attendees to apply for a $250 artist stipend to go toward shop fees and related costs. We accepted 10 applicants for the $250 artist stipend. The accepted artists represent a wide array of media and backgrounds, including a pinata maker, a printmaker, a comic book artist, and several painters. Anna Hansen

Inspired by the stunning landscapes of the wild and the human experience within it, Anna Hansen’s work focuses on the creatures of the natural world and our part within the narrative of this ever-changing planet. Her work is mainly centered around block printing from hand carved pieces that she presses onto textiles. Each design is born from a love of creation, the wilderness, and the joy in exploring and expanding our awareness of life on Earth.

Grant Fuhst

“Art by Fuhst” is the online shop for purchasing fine art prints by Grant Fuhst. The prints available are mixed/digital creations. Buyers have a choice of prints only, or signed, matted prints depending on their preference. Purchases can be shipped anywhere in the US as well as Internationally. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity signed and dated by the artist.

Citystitchermaps.com showcases stylized maps of locations in Utah and beyond. Each map is hand-painted and embroidered on canvas. The maps feature neighborhoods, cities, and national parks. Custom maps are available upon request.
