The Finch Lane Gallery is pleased to announce a new program, our Finch Lane Pop-Up Shops. These artisan Pop-Up Shops will occur Tuesdays through Saturdays, December 4 – 21, weekdays from 4:00-8:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m., at 54 Finch Lane, Salt Lake City, UT.
Twelve artists and craftspeople have been selected to hold individual pop-up shops featuring art and crafts for sale. A variety of media is represented in this line-up of artists. Schedule, artists and highlights on what each artist will be selling below:
– Saturday December 4, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.: Sarinda Jones’ kiln formed functional glass objects, ornaments, and jewelry.
– Tuesday December 7, 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.: Zubaidah Boutique’s handmade gold and silver jewelry.
– Wednesday December 8, 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.: Caro Nilsson’s ‘tactile impressionistic’ embroidered paintings.
– Thursday December 9, 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.: Vincent Mattina’s assemblage lamps and custom guitars.
– Friday December 10, 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.: Molly Powers Design’s relief prints and calendars.
– Saturday December 11, 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m: Bunnies and Bears’ handknit animals for children.
– Tuesday December 14, 4:00 p.m.–8:00 p.m.: Cyanoweave’s cyanotypes and weavings.
– Wednesday December 15, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Awallart’s hand thrown porcelain and obsidian functional kitchenware.
– Thursday December 16, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: twstudioshop’s relief prints.
– Friday December 17, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Soft Talks’ contemporary homewares.
– Saturday December 18, 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m: Jane Philips’ wood fired ceramic homewares.
– Tuesday December 21, 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.: Etching Trails’ upcycled tote bags and hats from commercial fabric scraps
