Major Jackson is the author of four collections of poetry, most recently Roll Deep, described in the New York Times Book Review as “a remixed odyssey.” He is the editor of Library of America’s Countee Cullen: Collected Poems. His poems, book reviews, and essays have appeared in AGNI, American Poetry Review, Boston Review,The New Yorker, Paris Review, Poetry, Tin House, among other fine literary periodicals. He is a recipient of a Guggenheim Fellowship, a Pushcart Prize, a Whiting Writers’ Award and a National Endowment for the Arts fellowship. Major Jackson is the Richard Dennis Green and Gold Professor and University Distinguished Professor at the University of Vermont. He serves as the Poetry Editor of the Harvard Review.
