My art show cases Kenyan Culture. My craft helps me remember who I am, where I come from and the sacrifice of many that have helped me to be where I am right now. For this reason that is my motivation for wanting to share my culture/ Roots with everyone I come in contact with. My craft tells a story either my own or someone else’s . See, everyone has a story and my goal is to create a safe space for people to feel confident in sharing their own. That’s why I commission local artisans in making some of my Jewelry. I learnt this craft from my mother and most of the products are handmade by both her and me.
